Adekunle Gold has released his third studio album Afro Pop Vol. 1, the first of a 2-part series, which follows Gold and About 30. The talented Nigerian singer-songwriter embraces a wider array of influences while still maintaining the authenticity of his traditional West African sound with which he first made his name.

Speaking about the track “Pretty Girl,” Adekunle said, “‘Pretty Girl’ is a fun dancehall song that talks about the multifaceted-ness of a woman. How she can go from demure to breaking her back on the dance floor. Love to see a woman be all she wants to be without reservation.”
