Ayra Starr Taps Kelly Rowland For A Remix of Her Hit Song ‘Bloody Samaritan”

Ayra Starr is on a roll. Following the recent news that she was the latest Spotify Global Radar artist and the release of her new single ‘Rush’, which has gone on to top multiple charts locally and internationally, Ayra Starr has further topped all these news off by dropping a remix of her hit song Bloody Samaritan with multiple-Grammy winning singer Kelly Rowland.

The original version of Bloody Samaritan was taken off Starr’s debut studio album ‘19 & Dangerous’ and was an instant hit. Amassing over 60 million TikTok views, was playlisted on BBC Radio 1Xtra and has been streamed over 32 million times on Spotify alone. The viral song garnered the Beninese-Nigerian newcomer a legion of international fans including Rowland, who posted an Instagram video of her vibing to the song last year.

Speaking on the collaboration and remix, singer Ayra Starr was ecstatic as she shared. “I’ve always been a huge fan of Kelly Rowland and when this came up, I could barely keep in the excitement! While recording this, Kelly made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, something I appreciate. She was super amazing and I was able to hold my own alongside a legend and I can’t wait to share this new music with you all!”
