Afrobeats The Genre, a branch of the Amplify Africa family, has created a new online series called ‘Afrobeats Genius’. It’s a game show where the invited guests will go head to head in a series of challenges testing their knowledge of Afrobeats. The winner gets crowned ‘Afrobeats Genius’ while the loser has to play out a dare.
The guests for the pilot episode, Sanmi(@adewus4real) of ‘The Rants Show’ podcast, and Christel Kayibi (@kayibiz) music lawyer, blogger, and A&R for Columbia UK, had to guess the song playing. To make things more interesting, there was a catch – the songs are played backwards.
