Kelly Rowland
American singer and television personality Kelly Rowland has announced that her photo book Always With You, Always With Me published by Viking Books for Young Readers, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers, will be released on April 26, 2022.
The photo book, co-authored by educator Jessica McKay, centers around the themes of motherhood and how women manage their homes and workplace.
It’s story focuses on a working mother, her son, and how she creates balance between tending to her workplace and her child.
Kelly, who had earlier co-authored another womanhood book, Whoa, Baby!: A Guide for New Moms Who Feel Overwhelmed and Freaked Out, expressed her delight with the release of her latest book.
“Jessica, Roda and I are thrilled to announce our first children’s picture book which celebrates modern motherhood and all the incredible work that caregivers do,” she announced in a press release.
Tamar Brazis, Associate Publisher, Viking Children’s Books, who facilitated the book deal with Jana Fleishman, EVP of Strategy and Communications at Roc Nation and Janine Kamouh of WME, in a report by Essence outlined the importance of the book.
“Always With You, Always With Me provides much needed comfort for children whose caregivers work outside the home,” said Brazis, “Kelly and Jessica’s loving words instill confidence in kids that they can thrive, no matter the distance from their loved ones.”
Kelly Rowland is a four time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, actress and executive producer.
Rowland grabbed the spotlight in the late 1990s as a member of the iconic Destiny’s Child, regarded as one of the world’s best-selling girl groups of all time.
Jessica McKay is an English teacher living in Los Angeles, CA with her husband and three children.
