Afropop Rising Act Idahams Teases Debut Album With Lead Single ‘Bad Girl’ Featuring Ajebo Hustlers

Fast-rising afropop sensation, Idahams teams up with the Nigerian music duo, Ajebo Hustlers on his latest single titled Bad Girl’. 

Since coming on to the scene with his 2020 EP Man On Fire, Idahams has quickly made his mark as one of the most exciting afropop acts in the game. With over 40 million online streams across all streaming platforms, three top 10 singles on Music Week’s UK Black Music Chart, and establishing himself as a favourite on BBC 1Xtra where he has become a favorite, Idahams has made it clear that he is not slowing down anytime soon.

Two years after bursting onto the scene, Idahams is here with ‘Bad Girl’. the lead single of his highly anticipated debut album titled Truth, Love & Confessions, set for release on September 16.

‘Bad Girl’ is an infectious afropop offering with R&B and hip-hop influences, on which Idahams and Ajebo Hustlers wax on about their escapades with the beautiful women in their lives.

It is produced by Yussy Beats and mastered by Grammy Award-winning producer and audio engineer Vtek, who has previously worked with Adekunle Gold, Yemi Alade, and Kizz Daniel, among others. 

Speaking about the inspiration behind Bad Girl and how the collaboration with Ajebo Hustlers came about, Idahams says, “When it came time for me to put my album altogether, I knew I had to connect with my brothers Ajebo Hustlers, because we share ties from our back home in Port Harcourt in Nigeria, and ‘Bad Girl’ was just the perfect song for us to work together on, thanks to Yussy on the production.”.
